I would say all these people are just willfully ignorant, but that would indicate that if only they knew all the facts they might act different. At some point folks need to stop looking at them as if they have a mental illness or disability and just take them at what they say and do. Free from consequences they will continue this pattern until the "silent majority" decide its time to be "active". Everytime that happens, people die and the world takes a step back. They already cosplayed the 60's for the last 3-5 years, let's not see what their interpretation of the 30's and 40's would look like. That is a reboot I will be doing my damnedest to avoid seeing. Also Kat I am now a subscriber to Airmail, so like, that one is on you. Great show / article, as always.

Ugh, I am now going to my favorite Israeli lunch chain (if you live in New England go to Pressed!) to do some falafel oriented double cultural appropriation.

Also how dare they besmirch the cuisine of Bernbaum's, the best (and only) Jewish deli in Fargo.

I figured he’s probably a bit too old to fit the timeframe but the idea amuses me nevertheless.

Phoebe’s got the authentic “aboat” pronunciation correct, and the “Turronnoe” one, but not the “Munntree-all” one, quite.

I was driving in the general direction of DC on Saturday and the rest stop was mostly busses of practicing Muslims with keffiyahs and van loads of leftists with funny colored hair and piercings with keffiyahs. I drew my own conclusions about who was there sincerely to shout from the river to the sea, no more Jews, and who were there to be useful idiots.

I am trying to remember when Hamas or Hezbollah fired rockets last and Israel activated Iron Dome. 2019? I don’t recall hearing about anti-Israel or anti-Jew ugliness among Americans. I’m with Bari. I blame DEI effect. I recently postal mailed all 50 governors to suggest that DEI be abolished by Dec 31.

A couple years ago my community college renamed the week of Diversity Days to "Decolonize!" Which I complained about on the basis of it being a) dumb and b) confusing. Why are we being shouted at and ordered to decolonize, and how is anyone supposed to know that it refers to a week of the usual campus organizations setting up information tables? (Everybody gets a table, you can distinguish the point of the event by what food trucks arrive.). Anyway I'm quite curious to see if our dumb "Decolonize!" title survives this horrible disaster.

Final comment: A commercial for a smart phone could feature a dull businessman tracking many deadlines of boring work projects. Or commercial could be fun and sexy. Palestine is “sexy” as was “Defund”. Packaging and marketing to target audience. That is what I see.

Suggestion: K and P should inquire with people who work in city-gov Toronto and NYC about whether employees receive educational email from Equity Director about the history of Israel/Palestine. Also check out state gov email education to employees.
